And who art thou? said I to the soft-falling shower, Which, strange to tell, gave me an answer, as here translated: I am the Poem of Earth, said the voice of the rain, Eternal I rise impalpable out of the land and the bottomless sea, Upward to heaven, whence, vaguely form'd, altogether changed, and yet the same, I descend to lave the drouths, atomies, dust-layers of the globe, And all that in them without me were seeds only, latent, unborn; And forever, by day and night, I give back life to my...

this work was conceived and composed in three years. two pieces called "glimse# 1" and "glimpse# 3" were composed for a dance show with vika kleiman. are both a tribute to the great irish writer samuel beckett. "glimpse" is just a piece of a project that still take years to finish and that will be a compendium on my understanding of acoustic hurdy gurdy.

the literary works of samuel beckett falls between the poem "whoroscope" and "what is the word". the work presented here is "what is the word" the last poem written by beckett, a few days before his death. my mission was to put a music that expresses the eternal silence holds. these two poems express that to me is one of the most important key concepts of beckett: the constant contradiction between the anglican philosophical think ("esse est percipit")...

this electroacoustic piece was composed using two basic materials: the acoustic sound of a prepared hurdy gurdy, recorded in a room 6m2 longer, and processed sound since this first recording. sometimes in this sound intermingle sinuidal sounds like perfect complement. this is the stereo version. it's available the quadraphonic version using two tracks with prepared hurdy gurdy and two for electronics. the sound could be the expression of the four basic elements wich created life.
